Nomination/Invitation for New Members

Membership Qualification Recap: Please review the current membership requirements with your invitee!

  • Must have achieved distinction and high professional stature in her career, and be actively involved with a MINIMUM of 5-years of full time experience in one or more of the following areas: Food, wine, beverages, nutrition and the arts of the table, OR the promotion of these areas through sales, marketing, advertising, PR, design, publishing, market research, OR media related to these areas (written, spoken, and/or published).
  • Derives a majority of income from one of the above areas.
  • Committed to the purposes and mission of LDEI and the Charleston Chapter.
  • Individual has high ethical standards and professional stature in the field and in the Charleston community.
  • Has demonstrated leadership in the field through her work, or in other professional organizations.
  • Committed to supporting the Charleston Chapter through time (mentoring, attendance at meetings, programs, fund raisers and events) and money (annual dues, Chapter activities, events, fund raisers, and ticket sales when appropriate).
