The Charleston Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier is a powerhouse network of women leaders in food, beverage, and hospitality. We’re chefs, farmers, writers, restaurateurs, educators, mixologists, event pros, and community changemakers — united by a shared passion for elevating women and giving back.

Membership Applications

The chapter is accepting member applications year-round. Annual dues for Active members are $200, with $100 going to LDEI organization and $100 going to the local chapter. Dues will be prorated for those joining during the chapter year. If you are unable to earn enough points for participation, you can elect to become a Sustainer member by paying an extra $100 annually to the Charleston chapter.

How do I qualify?

To qualify for membership, in alignment with international qualifications, members and potential members must meet the following specifications.

Be a woman with at least 5 years of professional experience, who demonstrates achievement, leadership, and accomplished stature in the food, beverage, or hospitality industry

Support the Les Dames d’Escoffier International Mission, Vision, and Basic Values.

Meet the ethical standards in the Code of Ethics and have no undisclosed conflict of interest associated with their membership. All members will be expected to sign the conflict of interest disclosure statement.

Obtain a letter of sponsorship from an existing member.
