Our adopted charity

The chapter adopted Fresh Future Farm as its 2019-2020 charity. This means part of our fundraising goes to the charity, and members look for every opportunity to volunteer and help out. 

Fresh Future Farm:

• Is located in the Chicora/Cherokee neighborhood, one of the 11 designated food deserts in North Charleston
• Transformed a vacant lot into an urban farm
• Grows and sells healthy produce making them available at an affordable price in a low-wealth community
• Provides educational opportunities through tours, classes, demonstrations that focus on nutrition.
